Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

October 27, 2007 By Dale Bengston

It was a beautiful fall day, and the kids didn’t much like the idea of being indoors at the Walker Art Center, so we stayed outside and goofed off in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden next door. Anchored by the famous Spoonbridge and Cherry by Claes Oldenburg, the Sculpture Garden has lots of space for the young’uns to run around, plus ducks. There’s also a conservatory, although I prefer the one at Como Park across the river in St. Paul.

Another mid-day panorama. Traveling with kids does present its challenges. No famous people immortalized in this shot. They were moving around too much
