The Jardin des Tuileries is a stunning garden and courtyard in between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde. We walked here late in the afternoon we arrived in Paris – just after the rain cleared. No complaints, considering this was our first weather of the trip. Tuileries is such an amazing place to stand and look in all directions. We could have spent the rest of the evening wandering outside the Louvre and the the Place de la Concorde, or strolling on the Rue de Rivoli, but we got hungry. And hey, this is Paris – not the place to skip a meal!
One famous person is immortalized in this shot. Mugging, even.
