Little Planets

February 6, 2015 By Dale Bengston

Stereographic projections, or little planets as they’re more commonly known, are a silly and fun offshoot of panoramic photography. By turning a panorama “inside out,” one can gain a whole new perspective on the subject.

Many panos lend themselves better to little planet projection than to more traditional spherical projection. Here are a few of my favorites.
